FacebookThe wealth and diversity of the ethnological heritage of this country forms an essential part of the collective legacy. The Network of Ethnology Museums of Catalonia (XME) was set up in 2008 to develop and coordinate the popularisation, conservation and revitalisation policies for this heritage. The Government of Catalonia’s Directorate General of Cultural Heritage is the body in charge of promoting the XME, currently consisting of 13 museums distributed throughout Catalonia.
