FacebookDiscover your history! The History Museum of Catalonia is open to learning. For this reason, it offers educational resources and programmes for students of all levels. The museum’s educational activities have received the Education Quality Mark from the Barcelona Teaching Coordination Council. This distinction recognises the educational contribution our institution offers students from all over the country.
We adapt to the needs and characteristics of each education level, from the youngest children to the oldest. Students interact with the space around them, observing and manipulating as they construct knowledge, together with the educator. In this way, we promote experience and the empathetic approach to history through its leading characters, with a human and social slant.
Our activities are led by specialised educators who know about history and teaching. They are experts in putting across knowledge in a friendly, fun and relaxed way. As well as educational activities, we also have a section with teaching resources and materials for expanding the museum’s contribution in the classroom.
